How It Works.
Every project starts with a 30-minute phone call to hear all about your project and what you’re looking for in a design service. We’ll answer any questions you might have and schedule your consultation.
Next up: a 1-hour paid, in-person consultation. We’ll walk your space, brainstorm ideas, and start painting a picture of what your space could be, bringing as much creativity, vision, and expertise as we can.
We can talk about anything you’d like, such as:
- Help with any design-specific issues you’re having in your home.
- Guidance on paint colors, light fixtures, shower design, tile, flooring, wallpaper, furniture arrangement, hardware finishes, decor, and more.
- DIY project troubleshooting.
For some, this session is all the help you need. If you want to keep the momentum going, we’ll send over a project proposal, scope of work, and contract that lays out the next steps to take your project to completion.
Think of this as a first date. We’ll vibe-check, talk dreams, and make sure we’re a good match before taking things to the next level.
Once our contract is signed and the first fee is paid, we’ll get to work. During this initial phase, our team visits the property to take detailed measurements and assess the existing conditions. This crucial step ensures our designs perfectly align with the realities of the space.
Next we’ll develop mood boards, sketches, and preliminary layouts to provide a visual representation of the aesthetic direction and layout possibilities for your space.
After approving the concept, we dive deeper into the details. This phase involves finalizing layouts, choosing materials, furnishings and fixtures and rendering more detailed visuals.
During this phase, we will meet regularly to make your selections.
We’ll hand off our detailed design documents and construction begins. We work with contractors, making regular site visits to ensure the work aligns with our design intent.
Once the dust is settled, we manage the installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment. Every piece is meticulously placed according to the design plan to ensure your space looks and functions as intended.
The final phase is project completion, where we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure every little detail is perfect. We help get any defects rectified then hand over your transformed space for you to enjoy.
