Listen, let me give you the honest truth. I hate it when influencers/accounts shove product after product at me. All the seasonal decor roundups make me want to throw away my phone and move off the grid. If I see another influencer ditch their dining room set and completely redo their entire room *again* when they just renovated it last year, I may lose it. Consumerism in the home design niche is oh so real. I am overwhelmed by it.

I believe in investing in your home with the things you love. No need to drop thousands of dollars every year to continually refresh a space. Buy it once. Enjoy it. Live in it. Move on.

So how does this coincide with me sharing affiliate links? Two things.

First, I spend a lot of time shopping for items for client home designs. When I come across items I think are beautiful, fun, and good quality, I genuinely want to share these good finds with you to make your life easier and hopefully inspire your home (if it needs it).

Second, over the last 3 years of running HillHomeLove, I’ve found it unsustainable for me as a business to share everything for free. I gotta feed my kids, pay my bills, etc.

Affiliate links are one of the many ways that keep my business afloat. It helps me to continue sharing DIY design tips, ideas, and resources with you for free.
